Daily Meditation and Spiritual Reflections with Shirley
Exploring our authentic selves
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I have built a community of meditators that began mid-March, 2020. We met for a half-hour daily via Zoom (08:30 am Eastern Time) for 500 days, and we have ended the daily meditation on July 31, 2021.
I am taking a break at the moment. I will continue blogging (just not on a daily schedule). Check out my blog where I post the inspirational reading and the daily reflections.

What is this meditation group?
"It’s an incredible gift to be part of this community and to share the wisdom. We pass it around, we play with it, we trust it, we don’t trust it. We feel like we’re failing but we’re not. It’s all this journey. In a sense, this is like an incubator."
Testimonials:

-
"When I'm not here, I feel it in my whole day."
-
"The reading this morning and everything that has been shared is speaking to my heart in the most profound way."
-
"I appreciate finding you all. It’s been so uplifting and has given me so much strength. I am very appreciative."
-
"The people who have been here longer are steadfast, they are holding the space so that other people are going to be able to speak what needs to come out. That’s what makes it easier to meditate in a group like this than on our own. On our own, we don’t have the support of everyone around us holding us as we are meditating. Thank you."
-
"It just helps me tremendously to be here. We are all virtual, but it doesn’t feel that way. I have been pushed out of my comfort zone. Thank you so much."
-
"I have enjoyed being here. I had to get out of my comfort zone to do this. I have felt so comfortable in this group. It feels like you are all with me here. I so appreciate it. It has uplifted me so much over this past week. Thank you so much."
-
"For 35 years, I’ve been meditating and I’ve never been able to express it in the way you did. So thank you for allowing me to walk in your footsteps. This group is amazing. What we have here is our collective wisdom, and we tend to disbelieve ourselves until we hear it coming from someone else’s mouth."
-
"Your wisdom exudes your values!"
-
"I thank you for this group. You found a door that opened to connect all of us. For those of us who live alone, in some ways it is a lifeline. And for all of us, it is a love net."
-
"I want to thank you all because I realize how much I have grown and learned from this group. How many skills I now have that I didn’t have at the beginning."
-
"My soul is exploding with your profound language. Thank you for holding space for me."
-
"This group provides sustenance for me that soothes and satiates my soul. Thank you."
-
"Thank YOU for doing this. I am sure it can't be easy to do this every single day. I am constantly amazed at how you have been able to sustain this for so long. Your writing and readings have been absolutely incredible."
-
"You continue to set a bar in my heart higher as I am challenged to really take in and reflect on what you are offering. There’s a resonance that occurs.”
-
"I want to thank you for gathering this group every day. I feel like I have found a jewel."
-
"Everyone is so vulnerable and honest. Hearing others struggles has helped me a lot."
-
"Thank you for sharing self. You are so many things to so many people."
-
"Lovely to meditate with others. Thank you!"

"This isolation and uncertainty is wearing on people. We need these light moments for grounding."
-
"This meditation is a good reminder to breathe."
-
"I was stunned that I was able to meditate, and at the end, I felt at peace and relaxed. This is very good for me. It’s the longest I've meditated in years."
-
"I feel so much better being with this community in a healing way."
-
"Your words flow with an openness and honest flair, I look forward to the next chapter every day!!"
-
"Lovely meditation today, a message that we all need!"
-
"When I hear you share and I sit in this group and look out at this sea of beautiful faces and souls, even without speaking, I feel heard."
-
"Thank you for creating this community and for the bravery to allow us to witness, and in tandem with you, transform and shed all the façade and let our spirits shine."

More information about Shirley:
I have been practicing mindfulness exercises for over 30 years working layer by layer through the emotional pain and distress from an abusive childhood, loss of a spouse in a car accident and the death of my 32-year-old daughter. I am a survivor of chronic illness, clinical depression and drug dependency due to chronic pain. As an intuitive coach using Dr. Susan Jeffers’ work Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway, I have been improving my life step by step and helping others. As a psychic medium, I communicate with the world seen and unseen seeking help and understanding for myself and others. I was trained as a spiritual guide through the Rowe Conference Center Certificate Program in Spiritual Guidance.
I have learned to accept my gifts as a psychic medium using clairvoyance, clairaudience, and clairsentience. It is with this guidance I commenced daily meditation practice via zoom.
